Art or Vandalism

So there has been a rouge artist at large in our house over this last couple of weeks. This particular artist has a proclivity to using common areas and personal property for her canvas. I have felt torn about these works of art. Each one seems to have been well thought out and is a true expression of this artist little soul....although, these works are on my walls, couch, windows and most recently on my dog. Yes, I am talking about my three year old. A friend did point out the other day though that if I want these works to stop appearing I am going to have to change they way I am approaching them. Not as works of art but rather of vandalism! lol

These two wall 'murals' are by no means the largest but they are the most recent!

Body Art is her newest avenue...I can't seem to stay ahead of her on this one...where she keeps finding the pens is beyond me!!

Our Dear Selah is the first piece of furry art. She found some white out in the office drawer before we even woke up. On first inspection I only saw the white out on the a couple of windows and the sliding door, I breathed a sigh of relief and got on with getting breakfast ready - then Selah walked by.

As for the Ever Changing Page...

OK.
So for those of you that haven't noticed that my page is in a constant state of flux - it most suredly is. For the rest of you that have been wondering 'what is this girl upto?!?' this blogs for you :)

Basically ever since I have started blogging I have begun experimenting and learning more and more about html (the code all this in written in) and most recently how to acctually design your own blog. "Cutest Blog on the Block" got me started and since then I have been playing around with building little digital creations.

This blog header is my first such creation. I am quite proud of it just because it represents quite a steep learning curve as well as way too much time. So anyway that is why my templates and headers are constantly changing, as well as sometimes my blog looks as though its been trashed by a virtual tornado. (I often have to leave my changes half done - life/children don't like to wait for blogs to be finished!!)

If you ever notice something you like or something that is causing problems I would love your feedback. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to share some more of these little creations.

A "B" Story

So I have previously blogged about my daughters little security blanket/stuffy named "B". Since my last blog this little bunny has not gotten any prettier or less worn. Sooo when my mom called the other day saying she found "B" at a store and had bought her to be swapped out with old "B". I was all for the idea. I figured we would put "B" in the wash and then when she came out of the dryer *POOF* magically "B" would look like new.
Today was the day of the swap. Old "B" went in and new "B" was placed in the dryer. I told Eliana that the dryer was done so she could go and grab "B". She ran over, opened the door (calling "B's" name all the while) and pulled out new "B".

" Mommy dis isn't "B" !? This is Mimi's "B" (Mimi is Eliana's name for Auntie Meighan)

Hmm time for quick thinking...I had nothing. I tried to play it off.

"Eliana this is "B"
"NO mommy dis in not "B", I don't ike dis "B"
"Do you want to take it for your quiety time?"
"NO! I don't ike new "B" (Now crying) ike my "B"

She went to her quiety time (ie nap time) without any "B"...all the while crying and mourning the loss of "B" I brought in new "B"

" Are you sure you don't want to sleep with new "B"? Look how beautiful she is."
" NO mommy"

A little while later I brought in her old "B". It was just too sad to hear her crying over her little rabbit. When I brought "B" in her face lit right up and she grabbed it and hugged it then she held it up and said,

" See mommy, my "B" beautiful"

Oh to see the world again in the eyes of a child hey!!! I guess old "B" gets to collect some more germs.
